A digital agency is looking for an experienced Senior SEO Specialist who understands technical SEO, content strategy, semantic search, and AI-driven search optimization.

The role involves managing SEO strategies for multiple client accounts, improving organic visibility, and exploring new opportunities across Google Search, AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, and other AI-powered search platforms.

This position is suitable for an SEO professional who combines strong analytical skills with practical SEO execution, automation, and a results-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities

SEO Strategy and Account Management

• Develop and execute SEO strategies for multiple client websites.
• Conduct comprehensive SEO audits and identify growth opportunities.
• Monitor organic traffic, rankings, visibility, and conversions.
• Prepare SEO reports and actionable recommendations.
• Adapt strategies to Google algorithm updates and evolving search trends.

Keyword Research and Content Optimization

• Conduct keyword, search intent, competitor, and entity research.
• Build topical clusters and content strategies.
• Optimize metadata, headings, internal links, and structured data.
• Prepare content briefs and improve pages for featured snippets and AI-generated answers.
• Apply E-E-A-T principles to content optimization.

Technical SEO and Automation

• Audit crawlability, indexation, canonical tags, and Core Web Vitals.
• Work with developers to resolve technical SEO issues.
• Implement structured data and scalable SEO frameworks.
• Support SEO automation using Python, APIs, AI tools, and no-code platforms.

AI Search and GEO

• Explore optimization opportunities for Google AI Overviews and AI-powered search platforms.
• Improve content structure for search engines and AI-assisted discovery.
• Research semantic relevance, entity authority, and conversational search.
• Monitor changes in AI search visibility.

Link Building and Reporting

• Plan ethical link-building and digital PR campaigns.
• Analyze backlink profiles and competitor strategies.
• Track performance using GA4, Google Search Console, Looker Studio, and SEO tools.
• Identify growth opportunities through data analysis.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably in a digital agency.
• Strong knowledge of technical, on-page, and content SEO.
• Experience managing multiple SEO projects or client accounts.
• Understanding of AI Overviews, Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), and AI-assisted search.
• Familiarity with keyword research, semantic SEO, and topical authority.
• Experience with Google Search Console, GA4, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and GTM.
• Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, SurferSEO, or Frase.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Strong analytical, communication, reporting, and client-management skills.
• A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, IT, or a related field.
